Visa and Insurance
It is advised that foreign students should buy the insurance policy to cover medical care costs prior to coming to Poland. Students from UE countries come to Poland without visa, usually for the period not longer than three months. If the planned stay is longer students should apply for visa to the Polish Embassy in their home countries. The residence permit for the period of study can be given to a foreign student on arrival. It is always better to contact the Polish Embassy to avoid visa problems.
